The Sasha
María Molina Peiró
Netherlands / 2019 / 0:20:00

On 1972 the astronaut Charles Duke landed on the Moon on the Apollo XVI. He was in charge of taking photos of the lunar surface with a high-resolution camera. ‘The Sasha’ is a film about the human perspective on Earth and our constant struggle with our temporal and spatial limitations. From the exploration of space to cyberspace, from an analogue Moon in 1972 to a virtual Moon in Google Earth today. A story about parallel universes where eternity seems to be lost between frames and interfaces.

Deep Waters
Alice Heit
France / 2019 / 0:53:00

ITALIAN PREMIER

Plunging into the mysterious territory of feminine sexual pleasure, Deep Waters concerns the ‘fountains’ which sometimes gush forth at the moment of sexual climax. Little is known about this phenomenon, even by women themselves... Disconnected from our bodies and our desires by centuries of patriarchal oppression, the land of feminine pleasures has remained very much ‘terra incognita’. Deep Waters opens the door on rare and precious spaces where words are freed and shared... Travelling through our imagination, we allow ourselves to explore, to play; and thus to nourish and re-establish a rich and joyful feminine sexuality, rediscovering it’s full depth.

32 km - 60 Years
Laha Mebow
Taiwan / 2018 / 0:25:00

EUOPEAN PREMIER

After being abandoned for nearly seven decades, the old tribal village is difficult to reach, with almost no roads leading to it. The only guide on our journey in search of our roots is Wilang, who drags his octogenarian body up the mountain. As we follow Wilang’s footsteps, we travel a tunnel back in time.
